Hibah Binghatti, Binghatti’s chief legal officer, has been officially added to the roster of speakers at Legal Leaders 2026, an event specifically aimed at the in-house legal community, clearly scheduled on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
She will participate in a fireside chat, ‘The modern GC‘, examining how legal teams use technology and artificial intelligence to enhance operations, while adapting to emerging risks and evolving business demands.
The event will unite leaders from private practice and in-house teams. It will explore their evolving relationship. Over 12 general counsel from top companies will attend. These include Careem, Core42, Dubizzle, and Majid Al Futtaim.
Essam Al Tamimi, founder and chairman of Al Tamimi & Company, will deliver the opening address, and the event will include panel discussions on topics such as the GC as a strategic business partner and leading through uncertainty.
A panel discussion, ‘The GC as a strategic business partner’, will explore how general counsel are stepping beyond legal risk into board-level strategy, value creation, and commercial influence, featuring speakers such as Anwar El Khatib and Ali Haidar.
Another panel discussion, ‘What GCs want from external counsel’, will bring together counsel from in-house and private practice to explore effective collaboration, featuring speakers such as Ahmed El-Bayouk and Mohammed Majid.
The event follows the launch of the Law Middle East UAE GC Power List in September 2025, and registration for complimentary delegate passes has now closed.
She will be joined by Fadi Kilani, chief legal officer at Al Khaleej Investment, in a discussion moderated by Bilal Syed, AI and legal technology lead for the Middle East at Thomson Reuters.
