Latham & Watkins has hired Grace Huang and Edward Freeman as partners in its Hong Kong office, along with Cindy Kwong as counsel, expanding the firm’s transactional platform in Asia. All three join from Freshfields. The addition of these senior lawyers reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to deepen its expertise in the region’s fast-moving capital markets.
Huang joins the firm’s capital markets practice, bringing experience advising on high-profile and complex listings, including dual and triple primary listings.
Freeman joins the firm’s M&A and private equity practice, with experience advising on complex cross-border takeovers and contested transactions for offerors, targets, and financial advisers.
Kwong joins as counsel, focusing on equity capital markets and listed company compliance, regularly advising corporates and financial institutions on high-profile and complex matters.
